Mr. Bhaskar Das
Executive President, The Times of India Group
As the Executive President of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (BCCL), Dr. Bhaskar Das is responsible for maximization of the company's volume and value market share by ensuring quality service to business constituents and driving value innovations. Being a Board member of BCCL enables him to leverage his skill sets across the Group’s businesses.

Apart from being integrally involved in the broad strategic direction of the company, Dr. Das is also on the boards of ZOOM Entertainment Network Pvt. Ltd. (a television channel), World Wide Media (a BCCL – BBC joint venture company marketing the Group’s magazines), Times Now, ET Now and Vijayanand Printers Ltd. (a recent acquisition of BCCL).
 
Mr. D Shivakumar
Vice President and Managing Director, Nokia India Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. D. Shivakumar is currently the Managing Director of Nokia Mobile Phones and the Vice President of Nokia. He has over two decades of experience in marketing and general management. He has handled more than 34 brands in his career. Mr. Shivakumar spent many years at Hindustan Lever and then moved to Philips to run the Consumer Electronics division, and was also on Philips’ board. He has been with Nokia since 2006. Currently he is also on the Godrej Board.
 
Mr. Nick Emery
Chief Strategy Officer, Mindshare Worldwide & Chief strategy Officer, Group M
After working in the media departments of small, independent agencies, Mr. Nick Emery joined Ogilvy in 1992 to work on Guinness centralized media, Duracell, Microsoft, and Shell, rising to be the European planning director and deputy managing director of the network, Ogilvy’s media division. Following this, he moved on to become strategic development partner for Mindshare Worldwide and has been the architect of the agency’s vision and structure from its launch in 1997 to the present day. In addition, Nick leads worldwide client service and product development for Mindshare and is the chief strategy officer for WPP’s trading arm Group M.
 
Ms. Vinita Bali
Managing Director, Britannia Ltd.
Ms. Vinita Bali, Managing Director, Britannia Industries Ltd., has worked globally in Marketing and General Management roles in pre-eminent multinationals like The Coca-Cola Company and Cadbury Schweppes PLC.  She is a transformational leader, credited with driving both business and culture changes in an enduring manner after 16 years of overseas assignments. She is also an Independent Director on the Boards of several Companies in India and serves on the Global Diversity and Advisory Council of Novartis International.

An MBA from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, Ms. Bali pursued her postgraduate studies in Business & Economics at Michigan State University. She has won several awards and accolades for her marketing and business acumen and leadership and most recently was named “Business Woman of the Year- 2009” by The Economic Times and has been ranked 22nd among the world’s  top 50  business w omen by The Financial Times.
 
Mr. Ashish Singh

Mr. Ashish Singh is the Managing Director of Bain & Company, India. He has expanded Bain’s                 footprint into India, helping the New Delhi office be the fastest growing start-up in Bain’s history. A top-notch global consultant—Consulting Magazine chose him as one of its Top 25 consultants for 2006—Mr. Singh has over 17 years of management consulting experience. His expertise lies in developing corporate and BU strategies, leading large-scale transformation programs, creating market entry strategies, and driving performance improvement.

Within Bain, Mr. Singh has co-founded the Enterprise Software (1996), Media & Entertainment (1998), and Pharmaceutical Practices (2001) divisions
 
Mr. Ashutosh Srivastava
Chief Executive Officer, Mindshare Asia Pacific
On the worldwide exco of Mindshare, Mr. Ashutosh Srivastava currently oversees the company’s Asia Pacific region as its CEO, based in the regional hub at Singapore. In this role, his focus is on helping transform Mindshare from a media planning/buying agency, to a provider of integrated marketing solutions. He works with capabilities and products in the marketing analytics, strategic marketing consultancy, content development, digital marketing, channel planning, and buying for traditional channels like TV and print as well as emerging channels in retail, out of home, mobile, etc.

Mr. Srivastava is also the global client relationship leader for key clients like Pepsico. He has been in the marketing services business since completing his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, and is keenly involved with the entertainment and media sector, new technology platforms, and their impact on consumers, and the implications on business strategy and brand marketing. He has also been driving the cause of accountability in marketing investment, and has been closely involved with the development of Mindshare's Marketing ROI management practice.
 
Mr. Vishal Gondal
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Indiagames
In 1999, Mr. Vishal Gondal founded Indiagames with a five-member team and started off as an online games portal funded by venture capital investors. In 2000, the company opted to enter the then nascent mobile games market and began R&D efforts in this direction. By 2002, Indiagames had developed several mobile games and had established a worldwide distribution network that included several important partnerships with mobile service providers, handset manufacturers, and technology providers. 

In 2005, Indiagames was also able to attract strategic investment from Chinese and US investors which served to provide the company with capital, superior technology, and access to a wider market.  By 2006, Indiagames had become one of the top ten mobile game companies in the world. From a humble beginning, Indiagames has come a long way, under Mr. Gondal’s leadership. Today, he leads a global operation with a team of over 300 employees and has offices in Mumbai, London, Los Angeles, and Beijing. In 2006, UTV Group acquired 51% stake in Indiagames.
 
Mr. Madhukar Sabnavis
Country Head – Discovery and Planning, Ogilvy and Mather India
Mr. Madhukar Sabnavis is the Country Head for Discovery and Planning at Ogilvy and Mather India, and the Regional Director for Thought Leadership. A Maths graduate from St Stephen’s College, Delhi and a PGDM from IIM Ahmedabad, he has spent 25 years in advertising; 22 of them with Ogilvy. During this period, he has worked with a number of clients like Asian Paints, Cadbury, Coca Cola, ITC, Titan, and Unilever among others. He has also created a brand in the advertising space called RMG David.

Mr. Sabnavis is the Vice Chairman of the Media Marketing and Public Relations Committee of Bombay Chambers of Commerce; a member of the Consumer Complaints Council of ASCI, and a member of the managing committee of the Bombay Ad Club. He writes a monthly column on the editorial page of Business Standard.
 
Mr. Sameer Suneja
Chief Executive Officer, Perfetti Van Melle India
Mr. Sameer Suneja, CEO, Perfetti Van Melle, has been with the Indian confectionery major for 12 years now. Accredited as among “India’s Hottest Young Marketers” in 2005 by Brand Equity and also one of “India’s Hottest Young Executives” in 2008 by Business Today, he is largely responsible for building the brands at PVM and creating some memorable and award winning advertising. He joined PVMI during its startup days and has played a key role in the company’s distinguished growth over the years.

Mr. Suneja launched Alpenliebe in India which today is the country’s single-largest confectionery brand. Today Perfetti is known by the brands it keeps. Several campaigns and brand baselines have become a part of consumer lingo such as “Dimag Ki Batti Jala De” for Mentos, “Dobaara Mat Poochna” for Chlor.mint, “Lagey Raho” for Alpenliebe Lollipop, “Smile Please” for Happydent White, “Hila Ke Rakh De” for Center Shock and so on. Under his leadership PVMI has the distinction of being possibly the first company to have won at the ABBYS and the EFFIES for consecutive years.
 
Mr. Vineet Taneja
Head of Marketing, Nokia India
Mr. Vineet Taneja is currently the Head of Marketing for Nokia India. In this role, he manages the overall Nokia brand and heads the services and software business unit of the company. In his earlier role as Director, Multimedia, Nokia India he successfully drove the mobile multimedia consumption in India and built a robust sales & channel base to market Nokia’s multimedia products under the N –Series Brand. He was also responsible for putting in place strong strategy to hasten the adoption of emerging mobile multimedia technologies and expanding the market share for Nokia’s multimedia products and solutions across key domains such as Music, Imaging, Internet, Media, Applications and Mobile Enhancements.

Vineet has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing. Before joining Nokia, Vineet worked with Hindustan Unilever Ltd. where he held multiple senior positions; his last one being Vice President for the company’s Tea Business.
 
Mr. Gautham Mukkavilli
President, PepsiCo, India Region, & CEO – Foods Division, FritoLay India
Mr. Gautham Mukkavilli is the President of PepsiCo, India Region and is also responsible for the foods division of FritoLay India. He joined PepsiCo Beverages International in 1991 as one of the early members of the team that launched brand Pepsi in India. Since then, Gautham has held General Management roles of growing scale and complexity in India, Vietnam, and Thailand in beverages as well as snacks.

Mr. Mukkavilli has served on PepsiCo International, Asia Pacific leadership team for the last 9 years and has played a key role in the growth of the South East Asia Region. In 1999, he started up Company Owned Bottling Operations in Vietnam, which is today a vibrant and fast growing market. He then became Managing Director of Thailand Beverages in 2000 - a key International market for PepsiCo. Prior to PepsiCo, Mr. Mukkavilli had 8 years of sales and marketing experience in the UB Group and Brooke Bond India Ltd., a Unilever company.
 
Mr.Chetan Bhagat
Author
Mr. Chetan Bhagat is the author of three blockbuster novels, Five Point Someone (2004), One Night @ the Call Center (2005), and The 3 Mistakes of life (2008). All the three have remained bestsellers since their release and have inspired major Bollywood films. The New York Times called Chetan the ‘the biggest selling English language novelist in India’s history.’ Seen more as a youth icon than just an author, this IIT D/ IIMA graduate is making India read like never before.

Mr. Bhagat also writes op-ed columns for leading English and Hindi newspapers, focusing on youth and national development based issues. Many of the issues raised by Chetan’s columns have been discussed in Parliament and among the top leadership of the country. Chetan quit his international investment banking career in 2009, to devote his entire time to writing and make change happen in the country.

Mr. Alok Gupta is a Director of Café Coffee Day (CCD) and his key responsibilities are to guide the CCD team to reach 2,000 stores in India in the next 4-5 years. Govind Shrikhande
President & CEO, Shoppers’ Stop
Mr. Govind Shrikhande spearheads Shoppers’ Stop, the largest department store chain in India. He is extremely focused on people and is passionate about Products and Services for the Consumer. Mr. Shrikhande was part of the team responsible for creating the Denim Revolution in India in the 90's. He was also a key member of the Arrow launch team, contributing to making it the No.1 Shirt brand in the Premium Category. He has also won the Retail Professional Of The Year award by CMAI in 2009 and very recently the Most Admired Fashion Retail Professional Of the Year Award at the IFA 2010.
 
Mr.Ajit Joshi
Chief Executive Officer, Infinity Retail
Mr. Ajit Joshi has been a part of Retail and Hospitality industry both in India and abroad for over 20 years of his career, specializing in areas of business management, operations strategy, channel development, and property management. He has has handled a number of portfolios, such as Spotless Services, Orion Capital Pvt. Ltd., ITC Hotels Ltd. and Les Roches. He has also been the Project Manager at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Mr. Joshi was working with Shoppers’ Stop as Vice President, Operations prior to joining Infiniti Retail Ltd.
 
Mr.Vikram Sakhuja
Chief Executive Officer, Group M South Asia
Mr. Vikram Sakhuja is the CEO of GroupM South Asia and is focused on figuring out how to leverage scale to provide competitive advantage to clients. With over 20 years of experience in the marketing field, he has led the transformation of a media planning and buying agency practice into a communication agency business, and in the process has launched practices in activation, entertainment, sports sponsorship, and digital media to help grow the MindShare/GroupM business five times in 7 years.

Prior to this, Mr. Sakhujha has worked for 8 years with Procter & Gamble in Marketing Research and Media and then at Coca-Cola for 5 years, where he looked after the brand marketing portfolio. During this time, he has helped the launch of several successful brands like Ariel, Whisper, Sprite, Diet Coke and Kinley; and building of others like Coca-Cola and Thums Up.
 
Mr. Ankush Arora
Vice President, General Motors India
ANKUSH ARORA is currently Vice President – Sales, Marketing and Aftersales for Chevrolet Sales India Pvt. India. He is responsible for above functions India & the Sub Continent. A mechanical engineer by education, he has been associated with the Automotive Industry in India, Middle East and Asia Pacific Markets for the last 20 years.

Starting his career with General Motors in India in 1997 as Manager (Fleet Sales) Ankush rose to the position of Head of Sales and Marketing for GM India by 2002.  He was subsequently based at the Asia Pacific Head Quarters of General Motors at Singapore and was responsible for Sales Operations and Network Development for the Asia Pacific region.  During his tenure at Singapore, he was actively involved in developing the Network Strategy and development of Retail Capability for two key markets i.e. China & Korea. He returned to General Motors India in 2005 as Director Sales & Aftersales.  In 2006 he was given the responsibility of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales.

Mr.Rajesh Kamat
Chief Executive Officer, COLORS
Mr. Rajesh Kamat is the Chief Executive Officer of COLORS and has recently been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Viacom 18 Group. He is responsible for seeking growth avenues for Viacom 18. While overseeing the network functions of Viacom18, he continues to consolidate COLORS’ leadership position in the GEC space as the channel's CEO.

Under Mr. Kamat’s leadership, COLORS has moved to the leadership position in just 9 months, breaking the 9-year monotony of the leader in a dynamic space that is cluttered with 11 players. With a strategic focus on 3Ds, Differentiation, Disruption and Distribution, he propelled the channel to the forefront of the Indian television scenario taking it on the road to profitability in its second year itself. With an experience that spans over a decade from FMCG to media, his previous assignments have been with Coca Cola, Star India and Endemol before he joined Viacom 18 and COLORS.
 
Mr.Prashant Panday
Chief Executive Officer, Radio Mirchi
Mr. Prashant Panday is the Chief Executive Officer of Entertainment Network (India) Limited (ENIL) popularly known as Radio Mirchi. He has played a key role in bringing in the radio revolution in India. Over the last 9 years in ENIL, he has helped make the brand into the #1 brand in the country in terms of listenership (IRS R1, 2009: 41 million – next brand 17 million) as well as revenues (Rs 229 crores in FY09 – ahead even of AIR). He leads a team of 800 smart professional in ENIL.
Mr. Panday 20 years’ experience in industries ranging from Advertising, Banking, FMCG & Media, and before joining ENIL, he worked with Citibank, Pepsi, HUL, Mudra & Modi Revlon, where his primary focus was Sales and Marketing.
 
Mr.Dhruv Shringi
Chief Executive Officer,Yatra.Com
Mr. Dhruv Shringi returned to India after 8 years in Europe and his most recent role prior to co-founding Yatra was as Director –Group Operations and Technology of the Ebookers Group where he was responsible for sales of over $850 million achieved thru multi channels including online, call centers, and retail shops. With regard to technology, he was accountable for developing the IT strategy and for leading the technology development and infrastructure teams comprising around150 employees over 13 locations.

Before joining Ebookers, Mr. Shringi worked with Ford Motor Company in their Business Strategy team in London, where he was part of the European Business Turnaround team. He also has significant work experience in India, having spent over 6 years with Arthur Andersen based in their office in Delhi. Dhruv holds an MBA from INSEAD and is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.
 
Mr. Sonny Iqbal

Mr. Sonny Iqbal is a core member of the Life Sciences, Consumer and Talent Management Practices at Egon Zehnder International. He brings with him an extensive experience of working with senior level executives and Board members in companies ranging in size from venture-capital-backed start-ups to multi-billion dollar corporations.

He is involved in senior level Executive Search, Board and Talent Management work. Before joining Egon Zehnder International in 1998, Mr. Iqbal worked in Operations and Marketing at The Oberoi Group in India, the Middle East, the UK and Europe and subsequently at American Express, where he led Financial and Travel Services in India
 
Mr.V. S. Sitaram
Chief Operating Officer – Consumer Business, Dabur India Ltd.
Mr. V. S. Sitaram heads the Rs 2500-crore Consumer Care Division of Dabur India Ltd. as the Chief Operating Officer, looking after brands such as Dabur Chyawanprash, Dabur Amla, Hajmola, Vatika Shampoo, Babool Toothpaste, Odomos, Odonil, Real Fruit Juices, Fem Skin Care. He is also responsible for Dabur’s businesses in Nepal & Bangladesh. Mr. Sitaram has extensive firsthand experience and understanding of various segments of the branded consumer goods market in India, having spent more than 25 years in the area of sales, marketing, and strategy with companies like Ponds, Hindustan Lever and Unilever plc. in categories like Personal Care, Home Care, Health and Foods.

Before joining Dabur in 2006, Mr. Sitaram was Vice President –Strategy with Unilever at the Corporate Office in London and was responsible for developing their growth strategy up to 2010.
 
Mr.Punita Lal
Executive Director, Marketing, PepsiCo India
Ms. Punita Lal, Executive Director with PepsiCo India, joined the company in 2005 to head the Marketing function. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the PepsiCo Beverages India business, the key steering committee of the company. She has been responsible for strengthening PepsiCo’s beverage portfolio over the last 4 years. In 2005 she was recognized by the Business India group as one of the 20 Most Powerful Women in Indian Business. Her work has been recognized by a series of awards over the last few years, including the ET Most Trusted Beverage Award received by Brand Pepsi in 2008 and the CNBC Awaaz award in 2007 and 2008.

Of late, Ms. Lal has been focusing on the larger ‘blue-ocean’ opportunity of converting India’s vast unpackaged beverage opportunity to a packaged beverage opportunity. To this end she has been spearheading an innovation pipeline of several exciting products and packages from the PepsiCo portfolio.
 
Mr.Saugata Gupta
Chief Executive Officer – Consumer Products Business, Marico Industries
Mr. Saugata Gupta is the Chief Executive Officer of the Consumer Products Business at Marico Ltd., a leading Indian Group operating in the Beauty and Wellness space in India and abroad. As the CEO, Mr. Gupta oversees the India FMCG business of the company, which contributes to around 75% of the Marico Group turnover. Mr. Gupta joined Marico Ltd. in January 2004 as Head –Marketing and was later was given additional charge of the Sales Function. He moved into his current role in April 2007. Prior to this, Mr. Gupta was Chief - Marketing & Group Sales at ICICI Prudential.
 
Mr.Neeraj Aggarwal
Partner & Director, Boston Consulting Group
Mr. Neeraj Aggarwal is a Partner & Director at the Delhi office of The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He has worked with BCG for over a decade. Besides India, he has worked in the US and European offices of BCG. At BCG, Mr. Aggarwal has worked significantly across the telecom sector with clients who range from telecom operators, equipment manufacturers, and handset players. With these organizations, he has worked on issues ranging from business strategy, marketing, operations design, sales and distribution challenges and launching of new services.

Prior to joining BCG, Mr. Aggarwal worked extensively in the technology industry. He was with Cadence Design Systems, working in the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) area for about four years.
 
Mr.Pradeep Shrivastava
Chief Marketing Officer, IDEA Cellular
Mr. Pradeep Shrivastava is the Chief Marketing Officer and a member of the dynamic Executive Committee of IDEA Cellular Ltd., India. His career that spans 24 years is an interesting amalgamation of Brand Management, Marketing and Communication. He has managed diversified businesses at Hindustan Levers, done a brief stint in advertising at Lintas and even took up portfolios in the Software Industry. Prior to his marketing assignment, which includes the much talked about “What an Idea Sirjee!!” campaign, Mr. Shrivastava has handled operations in MP and AP circles of Idea.
 
Mr. Nikhil Mathur
Head – Strategy, Planning and Insights, Nokia India
Having been with Nokia for 5 years, Mr. Nikhil Mathur took over his present role in Strategy in January 2008. He now plays a key role in the formulation of the Strategic Agenda of the India organization and is also a vital link in extending Global strategy into the country organization. He plays an essential part in forecasting the India market size and is entrusted with the task of creating the Market Intelligence cell and provides strategic support to the company’s Business Development initiatives. He is also responsible for ensuring the quality of key management processes in the organisation.

Before Nokia, Mr. Mathur worked with Asian Paints for 11 years in varied capacities. He started his career in factories in the areas of accounting, excise, materials and logistics, ISO implementation and systems, and had the experience of going through a labor union settlement. His last assignment in that company was in Finance and Strategy where he played a key role in helping formulate corporate vision, in some international acquisitions and post merger integration.
 
Mr.Prakash Bagri
Director - Marketing, Intel South Asia
Mr. Prakash Bagri is currently Intel’s Director of Marketing for South Asia and is responsible for driving brand and market growth strategies for all Intel’s products and technologies in the region. He joined Intel in 1999 and has carried out a gamut of business roles over the past decade. His last assignment was as Director of OEM business covering all aspects of engagement with MNC and local OEM customers.

Prior to Intel, Mr. Bagri spent over 7 years with Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (then Hindustan Lever Ltd.) in different sales and marketing functions. He is an engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and received his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He is also the recipient of the Intel Achievement Award in 2004.
 
Mr. Sumeet Vohra
Marketing Director, Procter and Gamble India
Mr. Sumeet Vohra is the Marketing Director of Procter and Gamble (P&G) India, based in Mumbai, India. He is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and has completed his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. He joined the company in 1992 in Marketing and has worked various Marketing Assignments in India, Philippines, and Singapore. Prior to his move to India in 2006, he was responsible for the Pantene (Hair Care) business for ASEAN, Australia, and India, and was based out of Singapore.
